Oludeniz Beach
This magnificent beach sweeps along for 3km and curves into a beautiful lagoon of calm and safe turquoise waters. The beach is a short and scenic drive from Kaya Vadi Villas. 
Gemiler Beach
At the opposite end of the Kaya Kõy valley you will find the secluded bay of Gemiler. This small beach provides a place to relax, sunbathe and swim, away from the crowds.
Patara Beach
One of the most spectacular beaches to be found anywhere on the Mediterranean. This 17km white sandy beach is just over an hour's drive from the holiday villas at Kaya Vadi. It is completely unspoilt, a real "gem" of Turkey.
Aqua Park at Çalis
Just half an hour's drive away is the Aqua Park at Çalis. Providing hours of entertainment for adults and children alike. There is also a bar and a café serving fast food.
Kaya Kõy
Kaya Vadi Holiday Villas are situated near the famous "ghost" village of Kaya Kõy. This delightful traditional Turkish village has a number of authentic bars and local style restaurants, providing a unique atmosphere and showing you the unspoilt side of Turkish Tourism. The food is excellent and at low, low prices.
Fethiye
The ancient and bustling harbour town of Fethiye is 7km from Kaya. It's busy centre provides the holiday maker with a combination of essential shops and services such as supermarkets and banks, plus a myriad of streets providing souvenirs, leather, gold and carpets, as well as many restaurants, bars and dancing clubs. The magnificent natural harbour, one of the biggest on the Mediterranean, has a wonderful promenade dotted with bars and restaurants and is a relaxing place to enjoy a beer, some good food and to watch the world go by.
Hisaronu
Just the other side of the low-lying mountain ridge you will find Hisaronu, our closest "town". Hisaronu is a lively place for eating, drinking and shopping. Catering for all tastes, it is very continental, offering some traditional Turkish cuisine as well as Indian, Chinese, Italian, French and of course English. There are lots of shops selling everything from clothes to gold and open all hours!
Oludeniz
7km in the opposite direction from Fethiye is the beach resort of Oludeniz. For the beach enthusiasts this is the nearest large beach. The centre offers a choice of bars, restaurants and shops.
Turkey is renowned for it's warm, safe waters, ancient sites, historical artefacts and fabulous scenery. From Kaya Vadi Villas you are centrally situated to enjoy trips and excursions to make the most of your villa holiday.
Boat Trips
Enjoy a boat cruise on a gullet (a traditional wooden sailing cruiser) and relax and swim in the fabulous blue Mediterranean waters.

Walking
Our spectacular countryside provides wonderful walking for all levels and abilities. Whether you prefer a gentle stroll around the valley floor, exploring lanes, alleyways and deserted cottages or perhaps you prefer harder walking up mountains, along valleys and down to stunning beaches, this area of Turkey has it all.
Basing yourself in the quite and peaceful luxury of our villas at Kaya Vadi, you are perfectly located to undertake many walks at whatever level suits you. The newly waymarked Lycian Way starts in Fethiye, and although the entire walk is some 500km in the direction of Antalya, there are shorter sections accessible from this area that can provide you with interesting and enjoyable walking on a daily basis offering you some of the most stunning views to be found anywhere in the world. To really get the best out of your walking you should plan your holiday for Spring or Autumn avoiding the hottest periods from mid June, July and August if possible. We are open for walkers from Easter to the end of October.
Horse Riding
The countryside in this area of Turkey is magnificent, offering high, pine-clad mountains, gently rolling hills and meandering paths running along the valley floor. Horse riding can be arranged locally and provides a delightful way to explore the valley and surrounding hills on horseback, catering for both novices and experienced riders alike.
Cycling
Alternatively tour the area on a mountain bike, take a picnic or stop off at one of the many restaurants and lokantas along the way and just go where the mood takes you, exploring and investigating the area at your own pace.
