Getting married? Have your wedding in Turkey at Kaya Vadi

Where else could be more romantic?

Imagine being married in glorious weather by the pool with your friends and family around you.

Kaya Vadi is a private complex of 4 detached villas with a stunning pool and tropical gardens set in a quiet, peaceful valley and so is the perfect spot for a wedding.

We can accommodate a group of up to 23 adults and children, plus a further two cots for babies. If your party is a little larger we can arrange additional accommodation in nearby villas for the extra families. Just let us know the size of your party and we will check availability and prices for you.

We will organise everything

The owners of Kaya Vadi, Bridget and Tim, lived in Turkey for nearly 8 years and were themselves married in Turkey. They will discuss everything with you first, and will prepare a briefing document for you to approve.

This will cover everything including essentials such as preferred dates, likely number of guests, accommodation, booking the Registrar, visiting the British Consulate, and all the details of the official paperwork.

In addition, and depending on your budget, they will discuss with you all the optional things like the type of ceremony you would like, hiring and dressing a gazebo for the ceremony, organising flowers, ordering a wedding cake, hairdressing for the bride and/or the bridesmaids, catering and so on.

Local wedding organiser

Once you have approved the briefing document we will contact our wedding organiser in Turkey. She will price everything up for us and you can then decide if you wish to go ahead.

We think the prices will delight you – Tim and Bridget found their own wedding to cost only a small fraction of the typical cost of a conventional wedding in rainy old Britain. BUT, many of their guests continue to remark that it was the best wedding they have ever been to!

If you decide to proceed we will reserve the villas for you while you get your flights booked, then we will organise private airport transfers and car hire if you wish. Then, over the intervening period up to the date set for your wedding, our wedding organiser in Turkey will liaise closely with you on all the details.

Combine the wedding with a holiday

It is entirely up to you, of course, but we usually recommend the bride and groom fly out to Turkey a few days before the rest of their party. Our wedding organiser can take them to visit the Registrar and the Consulate to get all the paperwork done before everyone else arrives.

We will set the date for the ceremony to be a few days later. Your guests, of course, can choose to stay for one week or two and have a great holiday either side of the wedding. Please visit the beaches and amenities page of this site for details of the many things to do in the area.

Stunning location

Kaya Vadi is located in a rural valley amongst the mountains which tumble into the Mediterranean. This is one of the most scenic coastlines in the world – the view pictured below right is just at the end of our valley.

Only 20 minutes away is the famous beach at Olu Deniz which is one of the most beautiful in Turkey and appears in all the brochures.

The famous deserted Greek village of Kaya Köy (pictured below left) is only a stroll away. Even closer, lying almost unnoticed in the fields, are museum quality tombs dating back over 2000 years.
